Tiam asked:

I am 19 and I go to a community college for my second semester. I tought myself spanish when I was 16 and from that day on I have always dreamt of traveling Argentina one day and hopefuly settle there one day. Yet I am undecided with my major in college and have no idea what to do. I am scared of life. All I can see in my future, is the vast grassy land of patagonia, but I cannot see the middle of this life. I live in California now and I can speak almost 3 languages. Can anyone tell me if I even want to work as an English teacher for a while in Buenos Aires, what courses will I need to take and finish in college?
-Thank you for your support

A friend and I (two males in our mid 20’s) are planning a trip to Chile & Argentina this summer (their winter) to go snowboarding and to travel the countries. We were going to rent a car once down there, but were told it would be a “safety issue” to do so. Does anybody have any experience?
We’re both americans.

Do they actually ask for proof of vaccination when you travel to: Argentina, Brazil and/or Chile?

Alea S asked:

Do we HAVE to have vaccinations when traveling to Argentina, Brazil and/or Chile or are they only recommended? When you arrive at the airports in these countries, do they ASK for any sort of documentation when you land, that one has had their vaccinations?

Do we actually NEED these vaccinations? If so, which ones do you think are most important? We plan to travel in January/Feb. 2011. I’m concerned about the safety of vaccinations in general. Thanks!

Mark Z asked:

I am a US citizen and I am traveling as a tourist for 2.5 weeks. I still have space in my passport for stamps - I have half pages scattered throughout my passport that are free - but I do not have any more full pages that are completely empty. Thanks for your answers!
