What prices should I pay for accommodation? Any ideas of good hotels or self-catering places?

We stayed in Buenos Aires, Argentina last April at the Marriott on Florida Street. Don’t miss seeing Recoleta, La Boca, San Telmo and Palermo. Palermo has great shopping and cafes. Recoletta houses the cemetery where Evita Peron is buried. We found most places easy to walk to and those that weren’t were just a short (and inexpensive) cab ride away. The only regret we have is not going outside of the city into the countryside. The food is very inexpensive and the people are very nice. Also…make sure you at least see a Tango show. Lots of places offer lessons as well. It’s an awesome place and we are looking forward to going back.
